ICIT Level I

TRACK 1 - Christlikeness Class

Jesus taught that if we loved Him, we would keep His Word. No one can ever hope to attain Christlikeness without being passionate about following all that Jesus taught. This class will focus upon the vision of becoming Christlike and understanding the teachings of Christ.

TRACK 2 - Humility Class

We will better understand why the Almighty said, "To this one I will look, to him who is humble and contrite of spirit, and who trembles at My Word" (Isaiah 66:2).

TRACK 3 - Prayer Class

The Book of Acts reveals that the early apostles were devoted to the Word of God and prayer. Like Jesus Himself, they drew their spiritual power from God, which they found in the place of prayer. They were not judgmental, they were "prayer-mental." Daily, these disciples met for corporate intercession and throughout history the church was never more powerful. Contrary to the way of western religion, spiritual power does not emerge from human ingenuity; power comes from time spent with God in prayer. Students will not only explore the variety of roles prayer plays in Scripture, they will learn how to make prayer the cornerstone of their ministry.

TRACK 4 - Unity Class:

Jesus taught that a house divided cannot stand. Knowing the devil's power to divide people, Jesus prayed earnestly for oneness in His church. Indeed, it is this Christ-centered, unified church that changed the world in the first century and our unity is again what God will use to transform our world in the last century. This class will release students with Christ's vision concerning unity and Holy Spirit power to engender unity among Christians.

The Bridge Ministry

Purpose statement:

"To keep Christ's heart for Israel before River of Life attendees through prayer, study of the Bible and actual relationships between Israel and River of Life with an ever increasing awareness of Israel's importance as we look to the return of Christ."

Description:

The Bridge is a ministry dedicated to the teaching of the full Gospel to all, providing classes and events to help deepen our understanding of the Bible, sharing the call for prayer for Israel. Psalm 122:6, reads that the LORD promised, that (you and I) shall "prosper" that love thee (Jerusalem). The Hebrew word for 'Prosper' is SHALAV literally meaning to be at rest.

We are praying:

  1. Bring Shalom (Peace) to the Place - Jerusalem, Israel.
  2. Bring Shalom (Peace) to the People (Jewish) in Jerusalem and throughout the world.
Romans 10:1 “Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to GOD for Israel (the Jewish people in Jerusalem and world wide) is that they might be saved.”
  3. Bring Shalom (Peace) through The Prince of Peace (The LORD Jesus Christ) as He comes again (See Revelation 22:20).

We are petitioning God in prayer to:

Restore the land of Israel, redeem the Jewish people and thus all the nations, and return for His own through the revelation of our Messiah the LORD Jesus Christ. The Bridge meets every other Tuesday of the month, at 7pm in the home of John & Bonnie Garbes.

Throughout the year we host other events, classes, and guest speakers.
Please watch the Bulletin and River of Life calendar for upcoming events.
